Marion Herting was born in Bremen on March 6, 1955. Together with her husband Laurenz Herting, she has been intensively involved in social projects since 1990. Their commitment has taken them to Africa and Asia, among other places, where they are passionate about promoting health and education in the poorest regions of the world.
The establishment of the Laurenz Herting Foundation is a project close to Marion Herting's heart, because she and her family know from their own experience how drastic illnesses such as cancer, MS and COPD can be.
