Laurenz Herting was born on April 10, 1943 in Neuenkirchen near Rheine. During a successful career as an entrepreneur in the steel industry, he led his group of companies to great success with vision and commitment. In 2008, Laurenz Herting took a well-deserved retirement and decided to continue his commitment to society in a new way. Driven by the desire to have a positive impact on the world, he began to support projects around the world that promote education and medical care. Through his own experiences in his private life, Laurenz Herting also recognized the urgent challenges of promoting innovative solutions in medical research and giving people hope and prospects.
